She oversaw website content, worked collaboratively with a graphic designer and videographer, and produced the majority of the church’s written and printed materials.
As the Director of Marketing & Communications, Carolyn leads the Marketing team—a group of creative and collaborative individuals who love sharing NNU’s story. She oversees the strategic direction and execution of all marketing, advertising, digital and communication efforts for the University, helping ensure that every message reflects the heart of who NNU is.
“Every message we share is an invitation into dialogue,” Carolyn said, “and there is no better way to show people who NNU is than with that invitation. At NNU, our goal is to communicate with authenticity and excellence—showing the heart of who we are through every word, image and story we tell.”
In her spare time, Carolyn reads Advanced Reader Copies of books which she edits and reviews before going to print. She works regularly with four different authors and has provided feedback on a total of 44 books.
Carolyn is passionate about grammar, punctuation and language, good communication skills and loving others well through writing and communicating. She’s married to her husband of 20 years and has four kids. Though originally from Western Washington, she calls Idaho home.
